The Charles River Conservancy will be holding its fourth annual Sunday Parkland Games! This fun, family friendly event will be held every Sunday from 2-5 pm on the grassy area near the Weeks Footbridge at the end of JFK Street. It’s a quick walk from Harvard Square, or a fun destination for an afternoon bike ride. All the games will be provided by Knucklebones, a local Somerville company that loves to play. For the older (and perhaps more brittle patrons), there will be yoga offered with certified instructors provided by Karma Yoga, a company based out of Cambridge. These events will be starting on June 17th and run on every Sunday (unless there’s rain) until September 30th, and most importantly, everything is FREE! So come join us!

| DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum and partner StilStudio, acclaimed yoga studio and retail store at Dedham’s Legacy Place, are pleased to announce they will host a summer series of outdoor yoga classes on the grounds ofdeCordova’s Sculpture Park. “Yoga in the Park” will consist of four sessions filled with fun, fitness, relaxation, and music for the entire family on the second Sundays of June,July, August, and September.
This is the third year that deCordova and Stil Studio have partnered to offer a unique outdoor yoga experience for families in the tranquil, inspiring setting of the SculpturePark. Studio owners Kevan Gale and Betty Riaz believe that practicing yoga is just as important for children as it is for adults because of its ability to inspire self-confidenceand healthy living.
One half hour class for children will be offered each morning followed by an hour long class for adults of all levels. Families are welcome to join their children in the morningclasses. The Grass Gypsys, a new age folk/soul/rock duo, will perform during each adult session. Vita Coco,“Yoga in the Park” sponsor, will provide coconut water to all participating yogis.
