| This July, Pottery Barn Kids at The Woodlands Mall has a lineup of fun events and activities for kids, parents and caregivers. There’s also a special gathering for new Moms and about-to-be Moms that’s filled with ideas for setting up the nursery. Here’s the summer lineup of activities:
Summer Reading Challenge now through Wednesday, August 22. Children 10 years and under are challenged to read all summer long. There’s a reading list for the Pottery Barn Kids Summer Reading Challenge available at www.potterybarnkids.com <http://www.potterybarnkids.com/customer-service/store-events.html> . Also available is the Certificate of Completion. Adults can fill it out and take it into Pottery Barn Kids at The Woodlands Mall for a free book* when a child, 10 or under, completes a Summer Reading Challenge List.
Tuesday, July 3 at 11 a.m. Book Club Story Time*. No charge to attend and reservations are not needed.

Book Tote: Saturday, July 14 at 3 p.m. and at 4 p.m. Pottery Barn Kids is partnering with Kiwi Crate, a company that provides home delivery of children’s craft projects, to offer events featuring hands-on projects for little ones. On Saturday, July 14, children can decorate their very own canvas book bag. Everything is supplied, except the imagination. Cost is $10 per child. Space is limited and reservations are required. Designed for children ages preschool and up, but all ages are welcome. Call (281) 419-5386.
Tuesday, July 17 at 11 a.m. Book Club Story Time*. No charge to attend and reservations are not needed.
Friday, July 19 from 6 to 8p.m. PBK Loves Moms. Expectant moms and new moms are invited to enjoy light refreshments and one-on-one consultation about baby essentials and ideas for the nursery. Attendees will receive a 10 percent discount during the evening’s event. Reservations are not required. PBK Loves Moms is held on the third Friday of every month.
Saturday, July 21 from 9 to 11 a.m. Fall Open House. Shoppers preview the new fall collections for children. Light refreshments will be served. No reservations needed.

Pottery Barn Kids is located outside in The Courtyard at The Woodlands Mall. Parents-caregivers are required to remain with children during all activities. Lone Star Leadership Academy programs are experiential learning, leadership development programs for outstanding 4th-8th graders. Participants travel to Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin/San Antonio, or Houston/Galveston to develop leadership skills and experience what they are learning in school through visits to historically, politically, and environmentally significant sites. Career speakers introduce participants to a wide variety of future career possibilities. Certified educators facilitate leadership groups, simulations, and leadership activities. Eligible students maintain an 85 or higher average and receive an educator recommendation based on demonstrated leadership ability. These residential, Sunday-Friday programs are offered during spring break and throughout the summer. |
