Famous Artist's Camp Take a creative trip through time, exploring and creating art, in the style of famous artists. Learn what it really felt like for Michaelangelo, while he painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Take a walk through Monet's Gardens at Giverny and learn to paint like an Impressionist. Create your own Starry Night like Vincent Van Gogh. Travel to Spain and paint using only one color or create a self portrait, with an ear where your mouth should be, like Pablo Picasso. Splatter paint like modern artist Jackson Pollack. This will be a really fun camp for young artists of all abilities. Parents can join us on the last day for an art show and reception.

Take a trip to the Tropics without leaving Illinois! Explore Tahiti and create artwork like Paul Gauguin. Learn about islands in the Caribbean and Infamous Pirates , while designing your very own pirate maps! Paint crazy sea creatures like Paul Klee. We'll talk about ways everyone can help our oceans, by creating our very own recycled mermaids and tropical fish. Start stretching kids! We're going to Jamaica for a limbo contest. Campers will also paint their own beach totes, visors, maracas, and t-shirts. On our last day, we'll have a Hawaiian luau complete with hula lessons, tropical fruit smoothies, and yummy Hawaiian treats!
Fun With Art Camp
Love to explore and create art? This is the camp for you! Create art that is all about you and your favorite things. Paint a canvas using letters in your name and what you love to do. Explore different collage techniques. Learn Creative Journaling as we write about and illustrate our creative inspirations. Try your hand at ceramics. Design your own Artist Trading Cards and share your art with other campers. You will be encouraged to expand your creativity through these and many other fun art forms! Art Party on the last day of class for artists and their parents. View all the amazing creations and get to decorate your own cupcake!
All camps are for ages 5 and up. Camps will be divided into age groups, so projects will be age appropriate. Minimum of 4 / Maximum of 15 participants.
Camps run Monday thru Friday from 9-12pm or 1-4pm. Price is $150 for 5 day camp.

The Tivoli Bowl is located just around the corner from the Tivoli Theatre in downtown Downers Grove. Having recently been transformed into a full-featured family entertainment center, it’s a place where the entire family will feel right at home. The owners have updated the bowling alley with expanded counter service, carpeting, three 50-inch TV screens, and theatre seating in a newly remodeled lounge area. The bowling center has 12 lanes with “state of the art” computerized scoring and automatic bumper lanes for the little ones. And, just recently, West Suburban Living Magazine featured the Tivoli Bowl as one of their favorite bowling centers in their Best of the West issue.
The Tivoli Bowling Center is owned and operated by Classic Cinemas, a family-owned company operated by Willis, Shirley and Chris Johnson. Each Wednesday morning from June 13 through August 8, Classic Cinemas theatres will present a family-friendly G or PG-rated film with admission just $1 per person! This year, all films will be shown using state-of-the-art digital 4k projection and sound. Show time each Wednesday morning is 10AM. The doors open at 9 AM, and movie goers are encouraged to come early to meet costume characters and participate in games and other fun activities!
The Wednesday Morning Movie Series is always popular with summer camps and park district and day care programs, and Classic Cinemas takes reservations for groups of 15 or more. There is a special group rate of just $4.75 per person (adults and children), which includes admission, a Kiddie Combo (a child sized popcorn, soft drink, and fruit snack), and reserved seating. This special package offers a $1.25 discount on each Kiddie Combo and allows groups to sit together. L’Alliance Française de Chicago and its team of dedicated teachers propose seven weeks of discovery through various entertaining workshops and two French language classes a week. Children will develop their skills and broaden their horizons, make new friends and be exposed to French! Embark on a seven-week journey into French language and culture: Language Classes, Arts and Crafts, Song, Dance and Music, Games, Sports, Cooking and Field Trips… and much more, for children ages 6 to 12.
During activities conducted in French (with some English), kids will be divided into groups based on their ages. All levels of French are welcome. |

Each Wednesday morning from June 13 through August 8, Classic Cinemas theatres will present a family-friendly G or PG-rated film with admission just $1 per person! This year, all films will be shown using state-of-the-art digital 4k projection and sound. Show time each Wednesday morning is 10AM. The doors open at 9 AM, and movie goers are encouraged to come early to meet costume characters and participate in games and other fun activities!
The Wednesday Morning Movie Series is always popular with summer camps and park district and day care programs, and Classic Cinemas takes reservations for groups of 15 or more. There is a special group rate of just $4.75 per person (adults and children), which includes admission, a Kiddie Combo (a child sized popcorn, soft drink, and fruit snack), and reserved seating. This special package offers a $1.25 discount on each Kiddie Combo and allows groups to sit together.
