Approximately 4 weeks later everyone will be invited to the Exclusive PREMIERE of both short films, at a local movie theatre, complete with our own paparazzi, screaming fans and red carpet interviews!

| Five fun-filled days of acting, singing, dancing and performing a musical play for kids 6 to 14! It’s the extremely popular Spring Break Create-a-Play Acting Camp at Santa Monica Playhouse, where kids have fun discovering the joy of creativity, theatre magic and imagination. “A delight! As I always tell other parents, you get more for your money (more fun, more education, more actual camp hours) at the SM Playhouse than any other camp available,” says workshop mom Mary Redfield. Enrollment is now open for the Mid-Summer Madness five-day Theatre Camp session– Monday through Friday, July 16-20. Sessions meet 9:00am to 3:00pm daily. Lads and lasses share in an incredible five-day adventure, excitedly diving into all aspects of play production, creating a unique mini-musical of their own, complete with costumes, make-up, props, lighting and sound. Working with professional theatre artists to create an astonishing piece of original theatre, presented for friends and family, and the public, on the last day of each session, makes it all the more special. The perfect way for aspiring thespians or curious first-timers to spend their summer vacation. Maroon 5’s Mickey Madden calls the Playhouse Acting Program “Great in so many ways!” Playhouse alumni include Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Deschanel, Jason Ritter, Jason Segel, Teri Nunn, Shana Feste, Liz Dean, Rina Mimoun and Cami Anderson (Newark Superintendent of Schools).

| Draw and paint! Act and sing! Dance and make crafts! Art Camp is an all-day, allweek summer program for kids who want to create art, have fun, learn new things, and make friends. Like all McGroarty Arts Center programs, Art Camp teachesstudents formal concepts of art while giving them the freedom to apply those concepts in their own way. As a result, students create artwork that reflects their own unique creative voice.
